FACULTY/ADMINISTRATION
Christian teachers compose the faculty of LCA all of which are members in good standing at Latham Bible Baptist Church or in local area Baptist churches of like faith and practice. Serving in their local church and community, LCA faculty seek to maintain a well-balanced world and life view. The school’s Board of Education, composed of the pastor and church-appointed members along with the school’s administrator, serves as the administration of the academy.
ACHIEVEMENT/COLLEGE ENTRANCE TESTING
Latham Christian Academy administers the Iowa Assessments to all K5 through 11th grade students annually. Sophomores and juniors also take the PSAT/NMSQT. Juniors and seniors are provided the opportunity to take the ASVAB to help with career guidance. All graduating seniors are counseled to take either the SAT or the ACT to meet college entrance requirements.
EDUCATIONAL ASSOCIATIONS
Latham Christian Academy is a member in good standing with the American Association of Christian Schools and the New York Association of Christian Schools. Administration, faculty, and staff of the school attend conferences and seminars in an effort to keep informed and prepared in their areas of responsibility.
